Cost Accountant

Responsibilities

• Update standard costs for new products and provide quotations
• Manage monthly cost reviews, cost freezes, and annual standard cost setups
• Monitor journal entry postings within the closing schedule
• Perform account reconciliations in OneStream and ensure timely cleanup of outstanding items
• Conduct monthly reviews of batch variance, PPV, and material usage variance to identify root causes and suggest operational solutions
• Provide daily financial support to Business Units, including responding to inquiries on closing entries and cost variances
• Collaborate with the GSC controlling team to reflect updated cost structures and variances
• Support internal and external audits
• Manage annual physical counts and work with supply chain/warehouse teams on inventory control
• Coordinate cross-functionally for duty exception applications and MITI queries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2-3 years of work experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in English communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to quickly identify subtle patterns among complex issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Major in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience using Oracle for Costing
• Fluency in English as a working language
