Cost Accountant

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation
• Prepare and maintain standard cost models and cost roll-ups
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to cost accounting
• Conduct margin analysis and provide insights to support pricing and profitability strategies
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to cost and inventory
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ERP system enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in cost accounting
• Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory management, and variance analysis
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
