About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead training and education for new and current technicians to ensure mastery of spa services and protocols
- Coordinate and execute standardized, branded training programs for all new hires
- Ensure proficiency in skincare, waxing, massage, body treatments, nail care, and sanitation procedures
- Monitor and maintain professional stock and inventory levels to meet spa needs and reduce waste
- Coach the team to achieve retail and service sales targets
- Provide technical guidance to Spa Managers regarding service protocols and guest issues
- Conduct periodic testing of technicians to ensure adherence to brand standards
- Perform operational duties including scheduling, priority booking rotation, and inventory management
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a high-end resort or urban spa environment
- Accredited cosmetology training
- Current Hawaii cosmetologist license
- Proficiency in hair, nail, and makeup services
- Computer literacy and strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Valid US work authorization
