Cosmetologist Hair and Nails

Responsibilities

• Provide expert hair, nail, and makeup services to guests.
• Lead training and education for new and current technicians to ensure adherence to spa protocols and best practices.
• Coordinate and execute standardized training programs and update training materials as needed.
• Drive retail performance by coaching the team to achieve service-to-retail penetration goals.
• Manage inventory levels, professional stock distribution, and PAR levels to minimize waste.
• Conduct technical interviews and provide guidance to Spa Managers regarding service protocols or employee performance.
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure treatments meet established brand standards.
• Assist with operational duties including scheduling, priority booking, and professional supply ordering.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a high-end resort or urban spa environment.
• Current Hawaii cosmetologist license.
• Cosmetology training from an accredited school.
• Proficiency in hair, nail, and makeup services.
• Computer literacy and strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid US Work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous salon management experience.
• Ability to create, update, and edit training manuals and protocols.
