Cosmetologist Hair and Nails

Responsibilities

• Lead training and education for new and current technicians to ensure mastery of spa services and protocols
• Coordinate and execute standardized, branded training programs and update training materials as needed
• Ensure proficiency in hair, nail, skincare, waxing, and body treatments
• Drive retail and service goals by coaching the team on product knowledge and sales techniques
• Manage inventory levels, professional stock distribution, and PAR levels to minimize waste
• Provide technical guidance to Spa Managers regarding service protocols and guest issues
• Conduct periodic testing of technicians to ensure adherence to brand standards
• Perform operational duties including scheduling, priority booking rotation, and shift coverage

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a high-end resort or urban spa environment
• Current Hawaii cosmetologist license
• Accredited cosmetology training
• Proficiency in hair, nail, and makeup services
• Experience in salon management or technical leadership
• Computer literacy and excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
