CORTEX Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage and support day-to-day CORTEX operations within the banking environment
• Monitor CORTEX applications, services, interfaces, and batch processing
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Handle application alerts, failures, and operational issues within agreed SLAs
• Coordinate with infrastructure, database, middleware, network, and application teams
• Support deployment, release, patching, and production change activities
• Perform health checks and ensure high availability and system performance
• Manage incident, problem, and change requests using ITSM tools
• Prepare operational reports, incident analysis, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with banking security policies, operational controls, and audit requirements
• Participate in on-call and production support activities when required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CORTEX Operations, Application Support, or Production Support
• Strong hands-on experience with CORTEX systems/applications
• Previous experience in banking or financial services is required
• Strong knowledge of production operations, incident management, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Linux/Unix, SQL, databases, and application monitoring tools
• Understanding of batch processing, system interfaces, APIs, and application integrations
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a high-availability and critical banking production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• ITIL certification is preferred
• Experience supporting mission-critical banking applications and 24/7 production environments
