About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct and lead an assigned shift of hourly employees to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met
- Supervise daily production of corrugated board, including training, planning, and assigning work
- Evaluate employee performance, manage rewards and discipline, and resolve conflicts
- Lead by example to promote a safe work environment and high-quality product standards
- Communicate operational information effectively to crew members, management, and external vendors
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety and quality programs and initiatives
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work primarily on the night shift
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry
- Two or more years of supervisory experience
