Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social services, or counseling, LADAC or LCSW licensure in New Hampshire, Valid Driver's License
About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide substance use disorder treatment to individuals within the Department of Corrections
- Facilitate psycho-educational groups to support long-term recovery efforts
- Support individuals working toward recovery while under departmental supervision
- Meet or exceed standards set by the American Correctional Association and the National Commission of Correctional Healthcare
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in criminal justice, social services, counseling, or a related field
- Ability to obtain Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in the State of New Hampshire
- Valid Driver's License (New Hampshire or other state if residing outside of NH)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
