About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor client behavior and conduct bed and wellness checks
- Maintain facility security using security cameras
- Document and report occurrences to management and CSC
- Maintain accurate logs and client file documentation
- Communicate conditions of release and CRF guidelines to clients
- Safeguard protected information and equipment
Requirements
- Secondary School Diploma
- Post-secondary studies in Social Services
- Minimum of one year of experience in criminal justice or social services
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance through Correctional Service Canada
- Satisfactory Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable sector screening
- Strong oral communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
Preferred Qualifications
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention training
- Conflict management experience
