About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of strategic frameworks, hypothesis trees, and executive-ready narratives to simplify complex technology spaces.
- Develop data-driven long-term business plans, including opportunity size, economics, monetization models, and risk assessments.
- Build robust business models and forecasts to define "where to play" and "how to win" over 1-to-5-year horizons.
- Partner with Global Business Units (GBUs) to evaluate and prioritize strategic investments and pressure-test key assumptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and product teams to align opportunity framing with HP’s technology roadmap.
- Consult with business executives on strategy formulation, risk management, and new growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or product strategy roles.
- Proven expertise in building business plans, TAM analyses, investment theses, and executive narratives.
- Strong financial modeling and business case development capabilities.
- Exceptional structured problem-solving skills with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear frameworks.
- Outstanding executive storytelling and visualization skills, with a track record of crafting high-quality C-suite presentations.
- Fluency in market analysis, including segmentation, competitive dynamics, and value chain analysis.

- MBA or an advanced technical or business degree.
