Corporate Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of company premises to ensure the safety of assets, facilities, and personnel
• Monitor security systems including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and threats using defensive tactics
• Conduct risk assessments and report potential security vulnerabilities
• Respond to emergency and medical situations, acting as an intermediary with emergency response personnel
• Maintain detailed records of security activities and incidents
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a security role, military, or law enforcement
• Expertise in risk assessment and emergency response
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Familiarity with emergency medical protocols (e.g., TCCC/TECC) and AED operation
• Knowledge of defensive tactics and security equipment
• Axon certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security or protective services
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
• Military or law enforcement background
• Experience in corporate security or high-profile executive protection
