About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead key elements of Corporate Procurement’s Compliance and Sustainability programs to ensure alignment with global standards and regulatory requirements.
- Own and enhance the global Procurement compliance and sustainability governance framework, including policies, standards, and controls.
- Partner with cross-functional owners in SHEQ, Sustainability, Legal, and Finance to define procurement controls and coordinate annual reporting.
- Monitor emerging regulations and conduct impact assessments to translate developments into actionable roadmaps and process adaptations.
- Drive global process harmonization and lead change management for regulatory and policy requirements such as supply chain due diligence and social responsibility.
- Act as a data steward for procurement compliance, defining data models and delivering global KPI dashboards using SAP ERP/BW.
- Lead supplier engagement by integrating ESG and compliance criteria into selection and performance management processes.
- Design and deliver global training curricula and certifications related to procurement policies and sustainability reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience as a senior project manager, preferably within a procurement environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in supply chain due diligence, audit tools, and procurement-related systems (Source-to-Contract, Purchase-to-Pay).
- Solid technical expertise in SAP ERP & BW and reporting systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and willingness to travel periodically.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with supplier Scope 3 GHG emissions and additional sustainability reporting categories.
- Natural affinity for adopting AI-supported technologies in daily workflows.
