About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and file corporate records including resolutions, board changes, and minutes
- Manage insurance, payment, and performance bond requirements
- Develop and monitor compliance with risk transfer and mitigation strategies
- Handle intake of claims and incidents including contract and insurance policy review
- Coordinate board and committee signatures for documents
- Create documents for new corporate entity formations
- Produce documents for corporate policies and templates
- Provide contract support for design, construction, and standard corporate agreements
- Support the management of the contract review process and archiving
Requirements
- Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience, preferably in engineering and construction
- Ability to analyze financial data, insurance policies, and contract documents
- Experience managing engineering and construction disputes and litigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal certification
- Strong research and report-generating skills
- Experience using legal database software
