Corporate Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Partner with in-house attorneys to draft and review contracts for procurement, sales, marketing, and finance
• Manage the contract lifecycle including tracking, renewals, and expirations
• Maintain an organized database of legal documents through the contract management system
• Manage corporate governance matters including constitutive documents, filings, and board documentation
• Support legal due diligence for corporate transactions and manage data rooms
• Manage outside counsel and track projects, costs, and expenses against budgets
• Coordinate with external counsel and stakeholders for company projects
• Support the development of training programs for employees on compliance and contract management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree plus relevant paralegal experience or paralegal certification
• 4-6 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or highly regulated industries
• Proficiency in transaction lifecycle management and legal research
• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles
• Proficiency in contract management tools and databases
• Excellent drafting and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
