About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Corporate Secretary function for subsidiary board cycles by drafting agendas, meeting minutes, resolutions, and consents
- Manage Oscar’s portfolio of legal entities by drafting corporate documents, maintaining records, and tracking filing deadlines
- Prepare, review, and file annual insurance holding company system filings and manage inter-company agreements
- Serve as a subject matter expert on corporate structure and respond to audit requests from cross-functional teams
- Project manage special projects including strategic transactions, entity name changes, or internal legal team initiatives
- Contribute to the development of internal procedural guides for entity management and subsidiary governance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of commensurate professional experience
- 2+ years of corporate paralegal experience, specifically in entity management, corporate governance, and regulatory filings
- 2+ years of experience designing and improving workflows
- Demonstrated cross-functional project management skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Suite, and Zoom
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain strict confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the healthcare or insurance industry
- Experience implementing AI tools to improve corporate paralegal processes
