Corporate Occupation Health and Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance a high-performing safety culture across multi-state operations
• Oversee Health & Safety (H&S) programs with an emphasis on proactive risk management
• Manage occupational injuries including first aid triage and Workers’ Compensation claim coordination
• Create, update, and maintain Job Hazard Analysis for construction field and laboratory tasks
• Implement safety rules, policies, and guidelines across multiple offices and states
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses
• Oversee employee safety training programs including classroom lectures and hands-on instruction
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local, and OSHA standards
• Conduct random construction field safety audits and bi-annual office safety audits
• Maintain Lock Out/Tag out Programs and review SDS Binders

Requirements

• 3+ years of construction experience
• Experience managing occupational injuries, first aid triage, and claim management
• Valid and current state driver’s license
• Ability to navigate uneven terrain, climb ladders, and enter trenches
• Ability to lift and manipulate 25-75 pounds of material/equipment
• Ability to work in inclement weather and at heights

Preferred Qualifications

• BCSP Certification (CSP or SMS)
• OSHA 30 Construction Industry certification
• HAZWOPER 40
• OSHA 500
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Portable nuclear gauge safety training
• Radiation Safety Officer training
