Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor, partnership, and service agreements
• Develop and update internal policies such as HR, data protection, and privacy policies
• Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure timely statutory filings and registrations
• Support incident response documentation and regulatory communication
• Conduct preliminary legal assessments of business risks and maintain documentation for audits
• Drive information security awareness and track developments in India’s DPDP law

Requirements

• LL.B. degree (Mandatory)
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in corporate or commercial law
• Experience in contract negotiation and corporate governance
• Exposure to compliance and regulatory frameworks
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to interpret statutes and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• LL.M. degree
• Company Secretary (CS) qualification
• Experience working in a startup, fintech, or law firm environment
• Ability to independently manage routine legal matters
