Corporate Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions
• Provide legal support on real estate and property matters, including acquisitions, leases, and regulatory considerations
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts such as vendor, supply, and licensing agreements
• Advise on corporate governance and entity structure in alignment with healthcare regulatory requirements
• Identify and mitigate legal risks and develop standard templates and playbooks
• Manage relationships with external counsel to ensure cost-effective legal support
• Stay current on legal and regulatory developments impacting healthcare M&A and real estate

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of experience
• Current, active practising certificate in Australia
• Strong experience in M&A, real estate/property law, and commercial contracts
• Experience within or heavily involving the healthcare sector preferred
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
• Pragmatic, commercial, and solutions-focused approach
