Corporate HSE Manager

About the Company

Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) is a fast-growing investor, lead developer, and operator of utility and infrastructure projects in various geographical markets such as KSA, GCC, Asia & North Africa, with investments in 6 GW of Conventional and Solar power plants, and around 700,000 m3/day of water.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSE policies and procedures across operational assets and new project investments
• Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards
• Collaborate with Project, O&M, and EPC Contractors to ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations
• Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and coordinate drills
• Conduct HSE training sessions for project personnel and contractors to promote a strong safety culture
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to project management
• Manage the Return of Experience (RoE) and Lessons Learned processes to support knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of proven experience as an HSE Manager at a corporate level for construction or development companies
• In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA
• Relevant auditing certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CCGT project specifications
• Expertise in stakeholder management and strategic thinking
