Corporate Governance Research Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial, company, and corporate governance information to produce high-quality research reports and proxy voting recommendations.
• Develop subject-matter expertise in executive compensation, board composition, shareholder rights, and the regulatory environment in Australia and New Zealand.
• Build and maintain deep market knowledge of regional corporate governance trends and investment issues.
• Respond to inquiries from internal teams, clients, and companies regarding research findings and governance policies.
• Engage with issuers and contribute insights to discussions on governance matters and policy topics.
• Partner with global analysts to support ad hoc research, thematic reports, and analysis on emerging issues.
• Collaborate with global data, product, and analytics teams to support data capture and verification processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Post-graduate Degree in Economics, Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate governance, financial services, executive compensation, legal, or consulting.
• Strong analytical capabilities with solid financial literacy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills being an advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Must be eligible to work and have full working rights in the country.
