Corporate Governance Custom Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Issue insightful and well-reasoned proxy vote recommendations based on client-specific guidelines for institutional investors in Continental Europe
• Gather corporate governance data from public company documents
• Assist institutional investors in updating, developing, or formulating their proxy voting guidelines
• Research policy-related issues and contribute to seasonal reviews and client-focused research reports
• Answer internal and external queries regarding research analyses and vote recommendations
• Collaborate with Corporate Technology to develop and test applications that benefit clients and the department
• Work closely with Sales and Account Management to ensure a positive client experience

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Politics, or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort working with ambiguity
• Excellent English writing and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong computer literacy
• Experience with corporate governance data or the proxy voting industry is a plus
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasonal weeks (March through June)
