Corporate Finance (Technology) Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of pitch books and other client materials
• Conduct market, industry, and company analyses
• Gain hands-on experience in financial modeling and valuation analyses
• Develop technology-specific sector expertise
• Support due diligence processes for both buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Work as part of a project team on live transactions

Requirements

• Currently in the penultimate or final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
• Outstanding academic record, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Fluency in both German and English (written and verbal)
• Prior internship experience in M&A advisory or a closely related area
• Solid understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and practical applications
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical capabilities
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience or a strong interest in the Technology sector
• Highly motivated with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
