Corporate Director of Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including recruitment and hiring of personnel
• Evaluate compliance with all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements
• Ensure the provision of optimal pharmacy services to client sites
• Partner with Regional Directors and hospital personnel to enhance pharmacy performance
• Act as a temporary Director of Pharmacy or Consultant for new and existing hospital accounts
• Implement operational pharmacy improvements and manage special projects
• Provide orientation and training to Directors of Pharmacy and pharmacy staff

Requirements

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing
• Ability to obtain and maintain 12+ different state Pharmacy licenses
• 5+ years of recent hospital pharmacy management experience
• 3+ years of experience as a hospital Pharmacist
• Experience at the Pharmacy Director level in hospitals with 250-500 beds
• Willingness to travel 100% of the time, including ability to travel on 24-hour notice
• Residence in the Western U.S. near an international airport
• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and standard computer applications
