Corporate Credit Structuring Associate

Responsibilities

• Work with Coverage Bankers to originate, structure, and negotiate various financing facilities, including syndicated and bilateral loans, bridge, and acquisition financing.
• Manage and monitor a sector credit portfolio, providing strategic direction on client opportunities and transaction structuring.
• Prepare comprehensive credit applications, including transaction rationale, structure, terms, and exposure management plans.
• Coordinate with Credit Risk counterparts to complete credit assessments and perform necessary due diligence.
• Assist in financing structuring, underwriting evaluation, and the review of legal documentation such as commitment letters and NDAs.
• Act as a credit steward by monitoring client performance trends and market movements to recommend action plans for restructuring or exposure management.
• Engage with customers, agent banks, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless deal execution.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a strong quantitative background.
• 3-5 years of credit experience with formalized credit training from an accredited financial institution.
• Proficient financial modeling skills.
• Proficiency with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas efficiently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
