Corporate Credit Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative credit analysis of portfolio holdings and research new investment ideas
• Prepare written reports for new investments and conduct ongoing monitoring of existing investments
• Deliver verbal presentations to senior management and other professional staff
• Support senior credit analysts with industry research, analytics, and the automation of reporting processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a distinguished academic record
• 1-3 years of post-undergraduate experience in finance, accounting, or consulting
• Proficiency in Excel financial modeling and familiarity with financial statements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information succinctly
• Resourcefulness, self-motivation, and the ability to form original opinions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience conducting original research and communicating results in writing
• Direct exposure to investing or credit training
• Interest in or active progression toward a CFA designation
