About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage drafting, review, and strategic negotiation of commercial contracts including SaaS, hardware, and professional services
- Act as the primary legal point of contact for sales, procurement, and operations teams
- Partner with the Contract Analyst to build and scale efficient contract management workflows
- Evaluate and implement Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems
- Develop and optimize standard contract templates and master playbooks
- Collaborate with the Assistant General Counsel on complex or high-stakes legal matters
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in good standing
- At least 4 years of legal experience focused on commercial contract review and negotiation
- Expertise in SaaS, hardware-as-a-service, and channel partner architectures
- Familiarity with global data privacy frameworks like GDPR and CCPA
- Experience or interest in leveraging AI-powered legal tools
