Corporate Counsel

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of domestic and international commercial agreements, including vendor, supply chain, marketing, influencer, and SaaS agreements.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice on commercial and operational matters.
• Advise internal teams on contractual risk, compliance considerations, and dispute avoidance strategies.
• Support corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and licensing arrangements.
• Liaise with outside counsel on data privacy, consumer protection, and digital compliance matters.
• Advise on the legal and regulatory implications of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence initiatives.

Requirements

• J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the California Bar.
• 5–7 years of relevant transactional experience at a nationally recognized law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Significant experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Exposure to data privacy, digital commerce, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Big Law experience.
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, or licensing.
• Experience supporting global or international business operations.
