Corporate Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance the organization’s accounting principles, practices, policies, and initiatives
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting, including consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures
• Manage global financial record maintenance and financial statement consolidation activities
• Evaluate and enhance accounting processes to standardize global functions and accelerate the monthly close cycle
• Review, maintain, and strengthen internal controls and financial procedures
• Assess accounting and tax implications of material business decisions across multiple jurisdictions
• Oversee financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and tool implementation
• Serve as the primary senior contact for external auditors and oversee audit coordination
• Mentor and develop a global accounting team through coaching and performance management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation is required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 5+ years of experience leading sizeable global teams and managing multiple entities
• Prior experience at a Big Four public accounting firm
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting standards
• Industry experience within commodities trading or a similarly complex, global sector
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and cash flow management
