Corporate Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide training on operational compliance processes and procedures for employees
• Support operations personnel on compliance-related processes, including POA, AMS, and ISF filing
• Conduct internal audits and review reports to ensure adherence to regulations
• Review and recommend improvements to procedures for increased efficiency and compliance
• Assist employees and teams in resolving compliance-related issues
• Prepare and monitor compliance and management reports
• Maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and customers

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding with a strong compliance background
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and Harmonized Tariff Schedule
• Knowledge of CBP, FDA, AES, TSA, Census, and BIS regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed Customs Broker
• Customs Certified Specialist (CCS)
