About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute an integrated communications program covering internal and external channels.
  • Develop and implement regional employee communications plans to strengthen company culture and engagement.
  • Manage external public relations, including media relations, executive thought leadership, and crisis communications.
  • Partner with PR agencies to distribute company news and maintain positive relationships with regional media outlets.
  • Support business development, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures through strategic communication planning.
  • Oversee social media strategy, content creation, and brand positioning to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Coordinate corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and brand activation events.
  • Draft high-quality scripts, speeches, press releases, and presentation materials for leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing (Master's degree is a plus).
  • 7+ years of professional communications experience, ideally with an understanding of the energy market.
  • Proven end-to-end management experience in communications planning and execution.
  • Full professional proficiency in both English and Arabic.
  • Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and editing skills.
  • Strong media relations experience and a professional network of media contacts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools including social media, intranets, and analytical platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization.
