Corporate Client Reporting Service Recovery Engineer (SRE - VP)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical technology infrastructure to minimize operational disruption
• Lead rapid incident response and service restoration efforts for complex reporting systems
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and diagnosis of hardware, software, and network issues
• Drive stability improvements through automation, capacity management, and resiliency enhancements
• Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes
• Manage and mitigate risks in alignment with corporate governance and control standards
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and vendor teams to coordinate service recovery
• Tune monitoring tools, thresholds, and alerting to ensure proactive issue detection
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and knowledge bases for future reference

Requirements

• Proven experience in incident response and service restoration within a high-stakes environment
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and root cause analysis
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and performance scalability
• Proficiency in automation to reduce manual operational tasks
• Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple technical and business teams
• Experience managing or guiding technical direction as a subject matter expert

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving remediation of complex issues across a large-scale technology stack
• Ability to evaluate and enhance engineering processes and methodologies to increase efficiency
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including advising senior leadership
