Corporate Banker (FIG) – Vice-President

Responsibilities

• Acquire, build, and maintain relationships with a target client base in the Financial Institutions sector
• Formulate and implement account plans with a comprehensive cross-sell strategy
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow the portfolio
• Partner with Client Credit Management to facilitate internal approvals and address credit-related needs
• Conduct detailed client analysis to convert business needs into financial solutions involving debt products, FX, derivatives, and securities services

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
• Minimum 4 years of relationship management experience in banking
• Proven track record of originating new business
• Solid knowledge of flow derivatives, FX, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), transaction banking, and securities processing
• Strong organizational and credit structuring/documentation skills
• Fluent in Japanese and business-level English

• Experience managing relationships specifically within the Financial Institutions sector
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional product teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
