Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct prospect research to identify corporate and foundation opportunities aligned with institutional priorities
• Develop, write, and coordinate the submission of grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and sponsorship requests
• Manage proposal development processes, including timelines, deliverables, and reporting deadlines
• Collaborate with faculty, academic leadership, and finance partners to gather program data and budgets for proposals
• Maintain grant calendars, funding records, and documentation to ensure compliance with donor requirements
• Prepare stewardship reports, impact summaries, and briefing materials to demonstrate institutional impact
• Maintain accurate records within the University’s CRM (Raiser’s Edge NXT)
• Support cultivation activities, including meetings, events, and campus visits for institutional partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, public administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience, including 1-3 years in corporate/foundation relations or grant writing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundraising CRMs such as Raiser's Edge
• Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing persuasive proposals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a higher education environment
• Experience with proposal development, corporate giving, or sponsorship coordination
• Experience supporting grant compliance, stewardship reporting, or restricted fund administration
• Familiarity with corporate philanthropy and community relations
