Corporate Affairs Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic communications to enhance and protect the company's corporate reputation in Malaysia.
• Lead policy development strategies to influence change in areas such as access, reimbursement, and care pathways.
• Build and maintain high-level relationships with the Ministry of Health (MOH), hospital administrators, clinical leaders, and patient advocacy groups.
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments impacting the pharmaceutical industry and oncology therapy areas.
• Manage crisis communications, acting as the primary point of contact to handle potential reputational or policy-related emergencies.
• Lead and mentor a team of communications and public relations professionals to drive high performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Political Science, Health Policy, or a medical-related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector (pharmaceutical, medtech, or health policy).
• Direct experience navigating the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment, particularly within oncology.
• Proven experience in crisis management and handling media inquiries.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create executive-ready briefs.
