Corporate Affairs Analyst

Responsibilities

• Draft and develop communications materials including press releases, holding statements, media Q&A, and internal communications.
• Support the execution of integrated communications plans and monitor media trends and issue tracking.
• Assist with public policy and advocacy initiatives, including monitoring regulatory and political developments.
• Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and stakeholder mapping for government and industry engagement.
• Support the planning and execution of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community engagement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining communication protocols and readiness for emergency response situations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Operations, and HES to ensure alignment with corporate governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or a PR agency.
• Advanced/professional proficiency in English.
• Native proficiency in Portuguese.
• Ability to work onsite in Rio de Janeiro.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Experience working within the energy sector or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with the regulatory or political environments in South America.
