Corporate Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger functions, including preparing and posting precise journal entries.
• Oversee sub-ledger activities for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Drive an efficient month-end close process through cross-functional collaboration.
• Conduct rigorous balance sheet reconciliations and perform variance analysis on profit center income statements.
• Monitor financial trends and KPIs to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and external audit preparation.
• Maintain clear documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and workpapers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
• Experience with ERP systems such as Lawson or Yardi.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI.
• Experience utilizing AI tools for financial tasks.
