Corporate Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory, COGS, reserves, and accruals
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Perform inventory reconciliations, roll-forwards, and valuation calculations
• Analyze manufacturing cost variances including purchase price and standard cost variances
• Support warehouse cycle counts and annual field inventory audits
• Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes through automation and AI tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 years of experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or FP&A
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong reconciliation and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience
• Exposure to audits and internal controls
• ERP systems and data mining experience
• Experience with PowerBI
• CPA or progress toward CPA
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude
