Core Technologist, Pulling

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert for Cz crystal pulling processes, including equipment start-up, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency in the Cz crystal pulling process.
• Develop and implement robust quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of crystal quality.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve process reliability.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to engineering and manufacturing personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, materials science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of direct experience in Solar or Semiconductor silicon CZ crystal growth, wafer manufacturing, or a closely related field.
• In-depth knowledge of solar or semiconductor silicon CZ crystal manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with statistical analysis, process optimization techniques, and data analysis tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including R&D, operations, and quality assurance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
