About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a global process owner and subject matter expert for Optical Communications segment processes
  • Maintain global process alignment through periodic site visits, Gemba walk audits, and global process reviews
  • Identify global process trends and variations using systematic monitoring and data analysis (e.g., OEE, sigma level, Ppk)
  • Perform in-depth data-based analysis of process variables to identify performance issues and cause-and-effect relationships
  • Support the process roadmap by defining and executing specific workstreams
  • Provide on-site manufacturing troubleshooting support based on engineering principles
  • Ensure consistent evaluation of process changes through structured experimental plans and formal change control
  • Mentor junior process engineers and promote engineering rigor across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in process engineering
  • Strong understanding of process ownership principles and structured problem-solving methods
  • Practical experience with data analysis and basic statistical techniques
  • Familiarity with experimental activities, process testing, validation, or qualification
  • Experience working in cross-functional and international teams
  • Proficiency in English for daily cooperation with global teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, or Power BI
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
