Core Operations, Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform daily income processing and validation for Fixed Income and Equity securities
• Validate accruals and amortization in accordance with client-specific policies
• Reconcile and resolve cash breaks and other product-related discrepancies
• Review and validate deliverables to ensure completion within specified SLAs
• Create process flows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build a training repository
• Drive process excellence initiatives and manage business continuity for the team
• Manage client expectations through a proactive, customer-service-oriented approach

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, Capital Markets, or Fund Accounting
• Proven experience in Income and Corporate Action processing
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, trade flows, and Fixed Income products
• Proficiency in using Bloomberg Terminal for corporate actions and security pricing
• Advanced Excel skills for MIS reporting and data management
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA in Finance
• Ability to work in shifts and adhere to strict timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• NISM, NSE, or CISI certifications
• Lean or Six Sigma certification
• Experience with Robotics, BPM, or Data Science/Data Analysis
• Understanding of NAV and Custody processes
