Core Operations Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between client service teams and subcustodians/depositories to ensure proper settlement of international security and cash transactions
• Provide support and control for various financial markets as a senior member of the operations team
• Train team members and share technical expertise to support less experienced colleagues
• Assist managers with workload prioritization to accommodate time-critical or high-risk events
• Process and resolve complex operational issues and time-sensitive settlement activities
• Coordinate procedural changes and assist in collecting/analyzing data related to quality metrics
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and support audit requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
• 4-8 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with exposure to asset or cash servicing
• Proven ability to accurately process time-sensitive transactions containing significant principal risk
• Strong ability to analyze complex financial documents and understand financial markets
• Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, and independent judgment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
