Core Operations, Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform daily income processing and validation for Fixed Income and Equity securities
• Validate accruals and amortization in accordance with client-specific policies
• Reconcile and resolve cash breaks and other product-related discrepancies
• Review and validate deliverables to ensure completion within specified SLAs
• Create process flows and SOPs to build a repository for future training
• Drive process excellence initiatives and manage business continuity for the team
• Manage client expectations through a proactive and customer-service-oriented approach
• Troubleshoot process issues using Subject Matter Expertise (SME)

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, Capital Markets, or Fund Accounting
• Proven experience with Income and Corporate Action processing
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, trade flows, and Fixed Income products
• Proficiency in Excel for MIS reporting and creating documentation
• Ability to work in shifts and adhere to strict timelines
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA in Finance

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Bloomberg Terminal for corporate actions and security pricing
• Deep understanding of NAV calculation, accruals, and amortization
• Experience with Data Analysis, Robotics, or BPM
• Lean or Six Sigma certification
• NISM, NSE, or CISI certifications
• Experience in a leadership or team management capacity
