About the Company

Etched is building AI chips that are hard-coded for individual model architectures. Our first product (Sohu) only supports transformers, but has an order of magnitude more throughput and lower latency than a B200. With Etched ASICs, you can build products that would be impossible with GPUs, like real-time video generation models and extremely deep chain-of-thought reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Lead mission-critical initiatives by designing and driving high-priority projects
• Facilitate leadership decision-making through rigorous data analysis and strategic insights
• Own stakeholder communication by developing high-impact materials for internal and external parties
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between the executive team and various departments
• Establish operational metrics and track KPIs to monitor organizational performance

Requirements

• Several years of experience in high-ownership roles within finance, consulting, or startups
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent high-impact projects
• Ability to represent leadership and make critical decisions on their behalf
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing environments
• Expertise in designing reports and developing metrics to drive decisions
• Strong analytical skills and ability to parse complex data with custom spreadsheets
• Availability outside of normal working hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal education or experience in computer science, electrical engineering, or AI
• Deep knowledge of the AI ecosystem and emerging trends
• Understanding of startup stock, cap tables, finance, and legal mechanics
