Core Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform T+1 reconciliations and break resolution for various financial instruments including Equity, Futures, Options, FX, Bonds, and Swaps.
• Review external fund administrator reconciliations and liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as Middle Office, Prime Brokers, and Fund Accounting.
• Collaborate with Operations Technology and Trade Support to automate processes, implement strategic initiatives, and standardize procedures.
• Work with senior management to implement enhancements that streamline workflows and achieve operational efficiencies.
• Define and create operational procedures and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in the hedge fund industry, preferably within a multi-manager platform.
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments (Equity, Futures, Options, FX, Bonds, Listed Swaps, OTC).
• Proven experience performing reconciliations between order management systems, accounting systems, and Prime Broker data.
• Proficiency with order management or accounting systems such as Enfusion, Traiana, Geneva, or Gresham.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VBA) and programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, or SQL.
