Core Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support core components of the real-time trading platform including market data, order management, exchange connectivity, and execution infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across a globally distributed trading infrastructure
• Develop and maintain Java and C++ trading systems

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a front-office trading environment building low-latency systems using Core Java
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Network Programming (TCP, UDP) and binary protocols
• Experience with Unix/Linux Development
• Experience with multi-threading and lock-free data structures
• Experience with Market Data, Order Management System, FIX, Algo Trading, Smart Order Router, DMA, or ITCH
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C++
• Experience with Python for tooling, analytics, or data pipelines
• Experience with Grid Computing or Big Data
• Experience with databases such as SQL, MongoDB, or Redis
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS)
