About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-volume applications in a Web Sphere environment
- Build and implement REST and SOAP web services
- Work within an Agile/Scrum team to deliver software solutions
- Write thread-safe code and implement concurrency patterns
- Perform analytical troubleshooting and application tuning
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Java Development in Web Sphere environment
- 3+ years of experience in an Agile/Scrum team
- Strong Core Java and J2EE skills (XML, JMS, JAX-WS, CXF)
- Proficiency with Spring Framework and OOP/SOA principles
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber
- Proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL with DB2 or MySQL
- Experience with ORM tools like iBatis or Hibernate
- Experience working in a Linux environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Batch, or Spring Web Services
- Experience with Hibernate
