Core Builder

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble pressure plates and process all aspects of manufacturing service generator cores
• Perform fitting and assembly operations to build complete cores
• Torque and tension bolts and hardware per drawings
• Set up and operate robots
• Clean and detail cores

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• 4+ years of industrial-mechanical experience preferred
• Proficiency with shop tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, and wrenches
• Ability to lift and move 50 lb. materials
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment
• Basic math skills
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Ability to obtain fork truck and crane licenses
• Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status required
• Ability to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests
