Core Blending Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical knowledge of blending principles, technology, and work processes to manufacturing sites globally
• Offer specialist consulting and technical support for new and deployed applications, including troubleshooting and optimization
• Deliver technical leadership through training, work process reviews, and implementation of best practices
• Collaborate with site technology leads, process engineering, and business stakeholders to identify and scope new optimization opportunities
• Support R&D activities related to blending, optimization, and overlapping technologies

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fuel product blending within refining or chemical operations
• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced MS Excel Macro development skills
• Experience in statistical quality control (SQC) and using statistical tools such as JMP
• Industrial experience in blending optimization and/or coordination
• Experience in hydrocarbon processing or supply chain optimization, ideally within Refining or PetroChemicals
• Background in Data Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Mathematics
