Core Banking Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead core banking projects for mega-banks, managing the full lifecycle from business requirement definition to development, testing, migration, and release.
• Collaborate closely with clients and global offshore teams (primarily in India) to ensure successful project delivery.
• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation within the Banking Capital Markets domain.
• Drive project progress through effective coordination and negotiation with domestic and international stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of project experience in the core banking domain, specifically within functional areas such as Loan, Deposit, Trade Finance, or Payments.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in business conversations (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage diverse stakeholders and offshore teams.
• Ability to work proactively and autonomously in a global environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial system-related projects or package system implementations (Core Banking, Payments, etc.).
• Background in Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) for banking operations.
• Knowledge of banking business processes and industry standards.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience in PMO (Project Management Office) roles within system development.
