Copywriter & Content Producer

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-volume short-form content such as Reels and TikToks
• Write and adapt compelling copy for various channels ensuring on-brand storytelling
• Collaborate with Marketing teams to ideate and execute creative campaign concepts
• Research South African social media trends and competitor activity to keep content relevant
• Measure, analyse, and report on content performance to refine messaging and creative direction
• Respond to creative and marketing briefs to plan and brief collaborators

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, copywriting, English language, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in eCommerce, e-learning, or digital content production
• Strong conceptual copywriting and content creation skills
• High level of proof-reading accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Grounding in Marketing and Communication principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing for online blogs and social media
• Experience creating content for Marketplace platforms
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
